John Adler Practice Leader Pharmacy Benefits John is a recognized expert in pharmacy benefit management with over fifteen years of experience in PBM contracting, RFP consulting and negotiations. In his role as Practice Leader of Pharmacy Benefits at RBS, John’s responsibilities include advising clients on the review, analysis, structure and terms of all PBM contracts. This includes writing RFP documents, managing the competitive bidding process and negotiating pricing and terms. Prior to joining RBS, John held positions with Columbia Pharmacy Solutions, Lloyd’s of London, Gallagher Benefit Services and, most recently, TriCast, a pharmacy benefit risk management and consulting firm. John is a frequent speaker and panelist at industry conferences including those hosted by the Self Insurance Institute of America, the Society of Professional Benefit Administrators, the American Federation of Teachers National Negotiators Conference and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. He has been published and quoted in leading magazines and journals including Employee Benefit News, Risk & Insurance and Human Resource Executive. Education John graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a B.S. degree in Management.
