Steve Kirkpatrick
VP of Sales

Steve is responsible for generating new sales opportunities and initiatives for RBS. In this capacity he oversees national account sales for the company. His responsibilities include identifying, building and cultivating new client engagements.

Prior to joining RBS, Steve worked in investment management, investment banking and accounting and corporate governance research. Steve began his career with Robertson, Stephens & Company, an emerging growth investment banking firm. At Robertson Steve initially worked in the investment management business, now RS Funds, where he helped the firm increase assets under management six fold in two and a half years. Following a break from the firm to earn his MBA, Steve was a Principal in institutional sales, where he raised several billion dollars for technology, healthcare and service companies and worked directly with several of the largest institutional investment firms in the world.

In 2001 Steve co-founded Discovery Capital Partners, a long-short equity hedge fund. The fund posted positive double digit returns during a period when relevant benchmarks posted double digit declines. In 2004 he joined Glass Lewis & Company, a corporate governance and accounting research firm. In his role as a Managing Director of Sales, Steve helped develop and market solutions for detecting financial, fiduciary and business risks at public companies. Following Glass Lewis' acquisition by Xinhua Finance in 2007, Steve joined Black Point Wealth Management, where as a Managing Director he focused on investment management and corporate retirement and benefit plans.

Education
Steve earned his B.A. in economics at Tufts University, where he was named to the All-American Intercollegiate Sailing Team in his junior and senior years. Steve earned an MBA with concentrations in finance and marketing at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
